2020R2.3 Resolved Issues
The 2020 R2.3 version will be deployed on April 28. This minor release addresses several high-priority items identified by customers in the 2020R2 release.
ECL-11172 – Dashboard Rendering Problem
When expanding the snapshot inside a dashboard panel, the data was rendered incorrectly causing it to be displayed above of the next data row.
ECL-11306- Upland Analytics Uptime Monitoring
The system has safeguards built in to self-monitor uptime for customers. The calls used to ensure the new Upland Analytics tool was available but were failing. To be extra clear, Upland Analytics was available, but the calls to validate that availability were failing.
ECL-11322 – Memory Issues while downloading files/reports
Several customers were having memory problems while downloading larger files and reports. The issue has been addressed with this fix.
ECL-11325 – New Customer Configuration Error
When configuring a new customer environment, the heat map default settings were incorrectly applied. In these new environments, users would receive an error stating: “The ResourcePlannedVsActualCriticalLevel field is required.”. This problem has been fixed.
ECL-11348 – Authentication linked to a single application server
An incorrectly applied configuration setting caused users to lose authentication when load balancers move them between application servers.
ECL-11351 – Notification of task comments not automatically checked
When adding a task comment with mentions, the “Notify” checkbox was not automatically checked. This has been fixed.
ECL-11364 – Outdated token passed during UPP session
Users were receiving errors using the Upland Project Planner. An expired session token was passed between Eclipse and UPP when requesting an updated SVG image. The problem has been resolved.
ECL-11373 – Blank Email Notification – Memory Issues while downloading files/reports
When attempting to resolve a timesheet approval via email, users would receive a blank email notification. This problem has been fixed.
ECL-11375 – Unable to save task comments when contents are pasted into control
Users that were accustomed to pasting content into task comments were not allowed to save the comment. An updated comment control was released with the 2020R2 version that did not correctly validate the controls content to enable the save button when content was pasted in. This has been fixed.
ECL-11377 – HTML markup stored in plain-text comments
When storing a comment in Eclipse, we store two versions of the text – a plain-text version without formatting applied, and a rich-text version that formats the text with bullets, numbers, fonts styles, etc. In some circumstances, the plain-text version was not being stripped properly and would have HTML remnants stored with it.
ECL-11382 – Unable to store hyperlinks with more than 255 characters
An error was thrown when trying to save hyperlinks with more than 255 characters. The textbox control has been restricted to a maximum of 255 characters.
ECL-11403 – Cannot press “Show More” button on long status updates
In the project home page, long status updates would be truncated and display a “Show More” button to expose the remaining content. Users were unable to click the button and that has now been fixed.
ECL-11404 – Health Indicators not rendered properly in Report Template
Project Health Indicators were not rendered properly inside a Report Template.
